Friends of Hue Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) community-based organization established in San Jose since 2000.  We provide educational and social outreach programs to underserved and marginalized communities in Santa Clara County and vicinity. Our aim is to build a better community through bridging cultural gaps while strengthening the community resilience and well-being by improving access to healthcare and social services. We provide three main services with emphasis on building community resilience:
1. Outreach and awareness of healthcare and social services such as housing assistance.
2. Youth empowerment and cultural events to bridge culture gaps.  
3. Emergency assistance, disaster relief, and preparedness education.  

We also fund a children’s shelter in central Vietnam and support the communities in the Hue province through various grants.  

Friends of Hue Foundation (FHF) as an organization has been recognized by State Senate of California in 2016 for its service to the underserved community, and recently by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors for its tireless work during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our staff is multilingual: speaking Vietnamese, Spanish, and English.
